Daniel Nisbet is a dedicated senior educational leader with a strong commitment to student wellbeing. As Deputy Principal – Wellbeing Partnerships and Safety, Daniel brings a calm, solution-focused approach to his leadership, fostering genuine relationships with students, staff and families within the community. His positive and enthusiastic manner enables him to lead with clarity and purpose in the fast-paced world of modern education.
With a background in Physical Education and a Master of Educational Leadership, Daniel is a passionate advocate for high-impact, research-informed strategies that support school improvement through restorative practices, trauma-informed education and positive psychology.
As a wellbeing leader in a Catholic school, Daniel ensures every member of the College community can access the skills and pathways needed to contribute meaningfully to local, national, and global communities. He integrates the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, such as the dignity of the human person, into is teaching and leadership practice. This approach fosters a culture of social responsibility and inspires students to become active agents of positive change.
Daniel’s leadership is defined by a deep understanding of students’ needs and a steadfast commitment to nurturing safe, inclusive and thriving school communities where every individual’s innate dignity is recognised, celebrated and upheld.
Outside of the school environment, Daniel is a member of the St Agatha’s School Advisory Committee and volunteers his time as a junior football coach which he has done for the last 10 years.
