Master Plan
The Marist-Sion College Master Plan sets the direction for how our campus will develop in the years ahead. It aligns the College’s educational priorities with the planning of contemporary, safe and welcoming learning environments that support students and the wider community.
Developed in partnership with Williams Ross Architects, the Master Plan provides a long term framework to guide campus renewal and development.
Our Master Plan reflects our commitment to providing safe, inspiring and future focused learning environments for generations of Marist-Sion students.
Key Projects
Campus Heart — Completed 2025
A central gathering space designed to bring the Marist-Sion community together.
The Campus Heart is a purpose designed central gathering space that brings the Marist-Sion community together and gives visible expression to the identity of the College.
Located at the centre of the campus, it provides a welcoming environment where students and staff can meet, reflect and connect throughout the school day.
Flexible seating areas, shaded spaces and landscaped pathways encourage informal interaction, outdoor learning and College events.
As the physical and symbolic centre of the campus, the Campus Heart reflects the story and identity of the College.
Double Undercover Courts — Delivery 2026

A high-quality all-weather facility supporting sport, physical education and community events.
The Double Undercover Courts will provide a high-quality sporting and physical education facility that supports the active life of the College.
The development includes two multipurpose courts under cover supporting basketball, netball and a wide range of physical education activities.
The courts will also provide a sheltered venue for assemblies, events and student activities throughout the year.
Future Learning Hub — Planned

A new learning hub bringing together flexible classrooms and Food Technology facilities.
A key stage of the College Master Plan is the development of a new learning hub that will bring together General Learning Areas and Food Technology facilities.
The building will include twelve flexible learning classrooms, two Food Technology kitchens with adjoining dining spaces, staff collaboration areas and breakout spaces designed for House gatherings.

The Master Plan outlines staged developments that will enhance learning and student wellbeing across the campus. Through careful planning and ongoing investment, Marist-Sion College is creating safe, inspiring and future-focused environments for generations to come.
The Master Plan allows the College to grow thoughtfully over time. Each stage of development is carefully considered so that new facilities continue to support learning, wellbeing and the long-term needs of the Marist-Sion community.
