Students may undertake VET courses as part of the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM), accessing programs delivered across Warragul through local training providers and partner schools.

These courses combine:

• Practical, hands-on learning
• Industry-based training
• Workplace experience and placements
• Recognised qualifications

VET pathways span a range of industries, including:

• Trades
• Technology
• Health and community services
• Hospitality
• Sport and recreation

Through participation in a VET cluster, students can access more than 20 different VET programs, typically delivered on Wednesdays or Fridays. This structure allows students to engage in specialised training while continuing their studies at the College.

Marist-Sion College offers a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation onsite. This program is available to VCE students, including those seeking to attain an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

The course blends theory with practical application and provides students with a nationally recognised qualification that can lead to employment or further study within the sport and recreation industry.
