Georgie Beekhof is the Deputy Principal at Marist-Sion College, bringing over 15 years of dedicated service to Catholic Education. As a passionate and experienced educator and leader, Georgie is committed to fostering a college community that delivers an education for life. She is focused on building a team-based culture by recruiting and supporting teachers who share in the mission and vision of the College.

A strategic and solution-focused leader, Georgie works to build the capacity of all staff – regardless of their role – so that each member of the Marist-Sion community can reach their full potential. Her leadership is driven by a strong belief in collaboration, integrity and the pursuit of excellence.

Georgie’s leadership style is shaped by the many faith-filled, relational, and strategic mentors she has worked with across different settings. These formative experiences continue to inspire her focus on staff wellbeing, team culture and their direct impact on student outcomes.

Her approach to Catholic leadership is grounded in the values of trust, compliance, and collaboration. She is deeply aligned with the Marist values of Presence, Simplicity, Family Spirit and Love of Work, having served as a REMAR Helm for three years. The Sion values of Love, Faith, Community and Dialogue also serve as foundational principles in her leadership, underpinned by a commitment to transparency and unconditional positive regard for those she leads.

Georgie leads with both heart and mind, holding a strong sense of justice and equity. She is dedicated to creating a working environment that is safe, inclusive and fulfilling for all staff and students.
