Principal’s Welcome
At Marist-Sion College, students experience an education where they are known and loved, grow as lifelong learners, and live as active citizens inspired by Catholic Social Teaching.
Welcome to Marist-Sion College, a vibrant Catholic learning community where faith, hope and love guide our shared journey. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to nurture the whole person — spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and socially — so that each student may flourish in a dynamic and complex world.
Faith, Mission & Spirituality
Inspired by the Gospel and the spiritualities of the Marist and Sion traditions, our College is unapologetically Catholic while remaining open to dialogue and encounter. We believe in the transformative power of education rooted in faith and create meaningful moments of connection through liturgy, prayer and service.
Jesus remains at the centre of our spirituality, guiding daily life and animating our commitment to justice, inclusion and compassion.
Leadership & Learning Culture
As Principal, I see leadership as a relational act of service. I am committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, visibility and shared purpose where every voice is valued and every learner is empowered.
Our staff are expert educators, committed to evidence-informed practice and professional collaboration. Through initiatives such as Teaching Sprints, Learning Walks and Professional Learning Communities, we cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation. Students are supported through personalised learning pathways and a holistic approach to wellbeing, ensuring that every learner is known, loved and challenged.
Community, Belonging & Partnerships
We celebrate diversity and foster belonging. Our community is strengthened by partnerships with families, parish and the wider community. Student and parent voice are actively sought and valued, recognising that the story of our school is co-authored by all who walk its halls.
Programs such as retreats, immersions and student leadership invite young people to discover their faith, embrace their gifts, and become agents of change in the world.
Child Safety & Wellbeing
Child safety and wellbeing are non-negotiable and central to our mission. We are committed to creating a culture where every student feels safe, respected and empowered. Our practices are grounded in Gospel values and informed by rigorous standards, reflective dialogue and student agency.
By raising expectations and closing achievement gaps, we create a learning environment where equity and excellence go hand in hand.
A Place of Possibility
Marist-Sion College is a place of possibility — where learning is sacred, relationships matter, and hope is alive. It is a privilege to lead this learning community and to walk alongside our students, staff and families in partnership.
Welcome to Marist-Sion College — a welcoming community that integrates faith, learning and life.
